June 6, 2025 - Art League of Long Island - Dix Hills, NY

Now in its 5th year, the Write Rhyme Recite Collective was a powerful celebration of creativity, culture, and community. Hosted by Share Inform Enlighten, this signature event featured live poetry performances by professional poets, an author showcase, Poetry Slam Scholarships for students, the engaging panel discussion Write Rhyme Represent: Telling Our Stories, Shaping Our Future, networking opportunities, and professional headshots. This year, we proudly awarded $3,000 in poetry scholarships as we continued our tradition of uplifting voices, highlighting storytellers, and inspiring connection through the power of words.

Write Rhyme Represent: Telling Our Stories, Shaping Our Future

We are deeply grateful to our panelists for sharing their insights, experiences, and truth during our Write Rhyme Represent: Telling Our Stories, Shaping Our Future discussion. Their thoughtful perspectives sparked meaningful dialogue and inspired everyone in the room to reflect, connect, and continue telling their own stories with purpose. Thank you for helping us create a space where voices were heard, valued, and celebrated.

Special Thanks To Our 2025 Poets

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the incredible professional poets who graced the stage with their powerful words and captivating performances—they were truly amazing and elevated the spirit of the evening. A special thank you to one of our featured poets, a former Poetry Slam Scholar, whose return as a performer was both inspiring and a full-circle moment that beautifully reflected the impact of our mission.
